On January 6, 2018, Le Shou Group's 2017 Annual Summary and Commendation Conference and Art Show were solemnly held in the conference hall on the fifth floor of the Group. Group chairman, president, general managers of various business units, commended personnel and employee representatives, a total of about 210 people attended the meeting. At the beginning of the meeting, all stood up to read the oath of Le Shou Group and sang the song of Le Shou. On November 20, Minister of Agriculture Han Changfu met with David Beasley, the new executive director of the World Food Program (WFP), and his party in Beijing, and exchanged views on further strengthening and expanding cooperation between the two sides. Han Changfu spoke highly of WFP's outstanding achievements in eliminating global hunger and malnutrition, and thanked WFP for its positive contributions to agricultural development and poverty alleviation in poor areas of China. He pointed out that the Ministry of Agriculture of China, as the WFP's centralized department for cooperation with China, will further strengthen its partnership with WFP and innovate cooperation in poverty alleviation, South-South cooperation, and human resources.
